As the COVID-19 pandemic continues we pray that all remain safe. We will come out of this OK in time.
Changes are afoot. The corporate postal address of the church will be changing shortly. No changes to our email which remains the same. My friends, I would like to invite each and every one of you to come to 107 Federal Street in Salem, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 1st at 3:00 PM in the hour of the sun to attend a circle in honor of The Archangel Michael and all the angelic powers who watch over us. We will be asking Archangel Michael and all of the angels to help humankind in promoting peace, love and harmony throughout the world. Unless human beings become aware of the harm that they are doing to mother Earth through their continued negativity and hatred, we will continue to see the type of worldwide weather disasters, earthquakes and other calamities that we have been seeing of late. This is not the wrath of god. This is the result of human negativity and hatred being transmitted into nature and nature is rebelling. We reap what we sow.
As Giordano Bruno said, everything in the universe is connected. Even things that seem to be inanimate have a spiritual aspect to them or in other words, a soul. Humanity is hurting the soul of the Earth through hatred and negativity! We must pray to the Angelic forces to help humanity to change its ways and adopt light and love in place of hatred! We will ask for this in our circle. We will also use this wonderful occasion to dedicate and consecrate the Chapel of the Archangel Michael at Magika. There is no cost to attend and participate in the circle. The only currency that I ask you to bring is the currency of love and prayer! If you can't join us in person, please join us from where ever you are by calling on Archangel Michael and the angelic forces at 3pm and join us spiritually. I hope to see you all there! Many blessing of love and light to you all ! Parking Note -- Please park in nearby public parking. There is no on-street parking at our new location. You can park for a reasonable rate at the City of Salem Lot on Bridge Street, or other public lots downtown Salem. It is a pleasant walk to our new location in the historic McIntire District, and it will be a fair day. For directions and parking info please see: http://www.magika.org/contact-us-directions/ Rev. Lori Bruno Our Lord and Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church And the Chapel of The Archangel Michael Remembering the birthday of Dr. Leo Louis Martello. Many years ago, he was one of the first people to stand up for the craft of the wise. He was a Stragone and a Mago of the first order. He was a person who stood up for the rights of others of all colors creeds and orientations. He was an animal activist and protector of all who sought his aid. He was my friend and most sincere mentor, which is a rare combination in this day and age. He was a person who was most enlightened in all aspects of magic and imparted that enlightenment to all who came his way in the craft. In th1960s he held the first "witch in" in New York City's Central Park. This marked the beginnings of the craft being accepted in the open and was the foundation of the old religion in the modern world.
Dr. Martello fought against prejudice and fought for all who wanted to follow the light. He fought against cowards who would hide behind a typewriter and later behind the computer. But if you sought the light, he would always fight on your side. Dr. Martello said the strong find a way and the coward finds a way out. So I ask you, which one are you? Are you willing to make yourself known or will you stand in the electronic shadows behind the almighty computer? What are you doing to make the world better? Are you unjustly maligning other members of the craft? If you see injustice do you do something about it? I will leave it up to you, the members of the new craft, to research Dr. Martello's life and find out how he became an author, a teacher, and a caretaker for our mother and father. Anyone who came to him in sincerity was never turned away. He fought the good fight. September 26th 1930 was his birthday. Learn about him and his life. Know who went before you in the craft and who stepped forward so we can all practice our beliefs. I would ask you today to light a candle For Dr. Martello... a gold candle if possible. Wishing you all love, light, happiness, and the blessings of the Gods and the angels. Reverend Lori Bruno Our Lorrd and Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church and the Chapel of The Archangel Michael. Salem, MA and the vast cosmos. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe won a major victory on Sunday in its battle to block an oil pipeline being built near its reservation ritual lands when the Department of the Army announced that it would not allow the pipeline to be drilled under a dammed section of the Missouri River.
The Army said it would look for alternative routes for the $3.7 billion Dakota Access pipeline. December 1st was World AIDS Day, an opportunity for people to unite in the fight against HIV and show their support for people living with HIV. Being diagnosed with HIV today means something very different than it did 20 or 30 years ago. Thanks to better treatments, HIV is no longer a death sentence. People with HIV are now living longer and with a better quality of life than ever before. However, people’s attitudes continue to make living with HIV hard. This World AIDS Day, learn the facts about HIV and help take a stand against HIV stigma! #WorldAIDSDay
We also remember those who have gone before us due to AIDS and AIDS-related conditions and we pray for their comfort in the afterlife. We share in the sadness of the passing of Mark Newburger, husband and long-time companion of one of our members, after a long illness. He is now in the Light and our prayers and thoughts are with his wife and family as they endure this period of transition.
We mourn the loss of a personal friend, Scott Alan Miller. Born on July 14, 1956 and who passed into the Eternal Light and Love on September 28, 2016.
Scott is survived by his long-time companion and fiance Dianna Aaron, his mother Sylvia Kantrowitz, and father Aaron Miller. We pray for peace in the hearts of all family members. Today we observe the birthday of Dr, Leo Louis Martello. Leo passed into the light and the land of Truth and Justice on June 29, 2000. We do not mourn his passing as he is in the Land of the Ancestors. He was a champion to all, not just the Craft community in seeking equality. Let us hope for a society and people where such equality and tolerance for all can be obtained without concern for race, creed, culture, or gender preference. Let us all learn to be more tolerant.
Today June 29 2016 , marks the anniversary of the passing of Dr Leo Louis Martello in the year 2000, into the realms of the great ones
Dr Martello was of the tradition of the Sicilian Mago/Maga craft of the wise, better known as Strega or Religione Vecchia- the old religion To know Leo was a great honor. He was my mentor and dearest friend. He taught me many things about life and the magical world. However, the greatest was this, to have courage even if you have to stand alone for justice and humanity . He said to me many times, the strong find a way, the weak always will try to find a way out Leo wrote many books, one of which is "Witchcraft, the Old Religion." It is a book that speaks from the heart, and imparts to the reader a vast knowledge of the Sicilian craft belief. A book well worth your time to read , especially the early edition. As I gaze into the night sky, I see a very bright star, and I know that star is Leo. Lion among men, and the Craft of the Wise. I know he is surrounded by his beloved K9 friends Boom Boom One , and Boom Boom Two as well as his dearest LuLu And ,so I say this night, well done my friend! We of the old religion, will never forget your never ending quest for the honor of our God and Goddess to be respected. May you come back to those you have loved, and those who have loved you! Benedizioni Sempre!!! Rev High Priestess Lori Bruno-Sforza Our Lord and Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church Salem, MA MT Etna, and the Vast Cosmos As morning broke here we learned of the mass killings in Orlando, FL. We extend our sympathies to those suffering losses.
We share in the loss of the great boxer Muhammad Ali. A man, controversial at times, willing to stand up for his beliefs as a person, and making a nation re-think its own identity.
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our friend and brother Myrddin Emrys, of Salem, MA, who crossed into the Summerland after a courageous battle with cancer. Myrddin crossed over on March 28. He was 65 years old.
The name Myrddin Emrys – pronounced MUR-theen EHM-reez (hard "th" as in "those" or "that") was the Welsh equivalent of "Merlin" and translated can mean "Immortal Hawk." Known in the mundane world as Russell Leonardo, Myrddin defined himself as a pagan and Druid Priest, but not "Wiccan" and had facilitated the role of high priest in a number of our public circles in Salem. He was a military veteran of the Vietnam era. Myrddin learned of his illness last year, and had begun treatments as is customary, but complications set in, and he succumbed. Several of us visited him in his last days in the hospital and gave our Blessing of Passage. There, we met his family who lives out-of-state. He had a son and daughter-in-law and three small grandchildren. Other extended family was still being contacted at the time of his passing. As was his wish, his remains will be cremated and returned to his family. In honor of Myrddin, we will hold a memorial circle at Beltaine, Sunday, May 1, 6:00 pm at the Magika Shop, 63-R Wharf Street, Salem, MA on the green outside the store. Let's give a shout out to Dorian.

Patricia was a Tarot Reader and tarot teacher at the Magika Store in Salem and also at the Sacred Space Wellness Center on India Wharf. Pat had recently given a Tarot course at Magika which was well-received. We share her family's grief and send her our blessings as she passes into the Light. ![]() Susan is a family member of our own Debbie Mangelus Please visit: https://www.youcaring.com/susan-cali-467096 The brain tumor is running out of space to grow, and needs to come out as soon as possible. She will need 2 surgeries costing over $150,000 each. Because of the location of the tumor, there is only one surgeon in California who can do this type of surgery. Without it, she will lose hearing, vision and life. Recovery time is only 1-2 weeks, so she can return quickly, to her wonderful job, where she teaches Aqua Fitness and life saving swimming skills to children and adults. As a self-employed, single mom, and Do-It-Yourselfer, she has never had to ask for help before..... this is very hard for her to do. Please forward this to anyone you know, who may be able to help. May Gods Bless You for Your Generosity and Kindness On Sunday, October 25, 2015 we held a "Psychic Faire" in Salem, Massachusetts . The event was organized by Our Lord and Lady of the
Trinacrian Rose Church of Salem, MA, and facilitated at, and in conjunction with, the Victoria Station Restaurant. Individual intuitives (psychics and mediums) and support staff that donated their time included: Rev. Lori Bruno Rev. Mary Kirkpatrick Rev. Gary Gregory Rev. Richard Wendt Rev. Deborah Mangelus Rev. Renee Solano Rev. Myrddin Emrys Rev. Charlotte D’Amato Rev. Dennis Kirkpatrick Ms. Jillian Suzanne Ms. Susan Morgan Ms. Samantha McCune Ms. Jen Spinelli and Ms. Andrea Maubourquette ... as well as Ms. Liz Collett - General Manager Of Venue Events, Victoria Station Restaurant, and the generous staff and management of the Victoria Station Restaurant as well. A total of $3700 was raised and sent to St Judes Hospital for Children. On December 19, Rev Giuseppe Salvatore, one of our youngest and newest clergy, facilitated a Psychic Faire where he works and raised, on his own, an additional $200 which will also be sent to St Judes. We are truly blessed with such generous and creative people. Blessings to all. At this time of the year we remember our friend and brother, Rev. Richard Ravish. Richard was an accomplished high priest and served as chaplain of a local Masonic Lodge. He was balanced in his magick and promoted balance in life and in all things.
[ Brian Glenn (L) and Travis Plementosh (R) }
Dear Sisters and Brothers... One of our number is in need. Rev. Brian Glenn (pictured above - LEFT) who is one of our clergy-empowered members, is one of the most caring and devoted people you may wish to know. Early Wednesday afternoon, his husband Travis Plementosh (pictured above - RIGHT) had a severe seizure. Travis was rushed to the local hospital, where they did a cat scan to see if they could find the cause of the seizure. What they found was a tumor roughly the size of a fist on his brain. Upon this discovery, they transferred him to the Medical University of South Carolina. He is in a regular room as of right now, but will be undergoing a biopsy next Tuesday. Because of the location of the tumor, they are trying to keep him in the hospital as long as possible which may be an additional week waiting on the results of the biopsy. Unfortunately this means Travis will be unable to go to work, which means that their financial situation is going to go downhill very quickly. A mutual friend and very close co-worker has started a GoFundMe account to help them out with money for rent, car payment, car Insurance, and utilities. Rev. Brenda Gray who is also one of our clergy and associate of Brian, is taking care of all their cell phone bills and household pets. The hospital is about 2 hrs drive from where they live. We'd appreciate sharing this out to your usual sources to help generate some help for Brian and Travis in this very trying time. GoFundMe Site: http://gofundme.com/6qatcgfj Additional questions can also be directed to Rev. Brenda M. Gray LMT, CCH, Reiki Master Teacher at: kindredsheart22@gmail.com Thanks and BB to all. Effective this date, the Trinacrian Rose Church has revoked all clergy privileges of Richard Watson of Salem, MA.
Mr. Watson has been arrested on serious felony charges. While the legal system has yet to fully vet these charges and process this case, the church believes that it is in our own best interest to separate ourselves from Mr. Watson immediately. The Trinacrian Rose Church will not tolerate illegal activities of any kind by its clergy as it can negatively reflect on our body as a whole. Rev. Lori Bruno |
