Panera Cares is a new idea in food eateries where a person can eat and drink and leave a donation. A suggested donation list is posted. There are no cash registers. Those who need a meal and cannot afford one, can eat here with dignity.
We salute the Panera Bread company for the founding of the Panera Cares organization and this new concept in giving back to the community.

It was just one year ago, on January 17, that our dear friend Rev. Ed Peruzzi passed over into the Sumerland unexpectedly. We remember his soul, his life, his wit, and well-spoken nature, and hope that he will soon be reborn into his people once again. We miss you Eddie.
We also remember Dana and Karen Nevis, and Joan Rapp who took in Ed's adopted children and made them their own. Their kindness at this troubled time will help the kids on their path to adulthood.
We know that Ed would be proud of how they are growing up, and we know he looks down and watches over then all the time.
