Holiday Giving & Support
This holiday season, please consider HAWC in your charitable giving plans.
The Home for Abused Women and Children serves many Massachusetts north shore communities and has been a preferred charity of SPAN and Our Lord & Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church for many years.
During this season of holiday giving, HAWC will receive donations at their downtown Salem office:
HAWC 27 Congress St, Suite 204, Salem, MA. 01970.
The office is located on Congress Street near Pickering Wharf, near Salem's waterfront area. It is a modest (15 min) walk from the Salem Commuter rail station and directly on MBTA bus route #455 on select weekday runs. Other MBTA bus routes stop nearby. It is in an office park with ample parking as well.
While we have helped to raise toys and personal care products in the past, HAWC is presently asking for contributions to a family's basic needs this year. Their greatest need is unrestricted funds to support families with food, shelter, heat, clothing, and medical care. Department store, supermarket, and gas station gift cards would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
If you have questions about donations please contact Tracey at HAWC as follows: 978-744-2299 x19.
Main contact numbers are: 978-744-8552 Fax: 978-745-6886

S.P.A.N. Inc.
The Sacred Paths Alliance Network (aka S.P.A.N.) was formed as a charitable non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1994 for the purpose of conducting good works in the community in which we live.
In that first year of formation, we adopted several charities and over the years have worked to help improve the lives of those afflicted with HIV / AIDS, shelters for battered women and children, orphanages, and numerous other regional charities.
We believe that non-mainstream religious organizations have just as much responsibility to the community in which they live, as well as to the greater community at-large, in helping improve the quality of life for all. We are Humanity Helping Humanity without the restrictions of social, economic, or religious barriers.
In 1994 we ran our first Halloween Witches Costume Ball as a fund raiser for a local AIDS charity and transitional hospice/home. Sometime later, the beneficiary of this event was a special day-care facility for children afflicted with the HIV / AIDS virus in the Greater Boston (MA) area.
To date we have raised and distributed well over Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for these charities.
All proceeds go to these charities.
